We recommend keeping pets off the carpet while it is wet — typically 2–4 hours — and everything is completely safe once dry.

Because we use a Very Low Moisture (VLM) encapsulation system instead of old-style steam cleaning, carpets are usually dry in just 30–45 minutes — often you can walk on them almost straight away. Exact time depends on carpet thickness, humidity, and ventilation; opening windows or running fans makes it even quicker. No soaking, no long waits, and no wicking of stains back to the surface as it dries.

For most households we recommend a professional clean every 12 months. Homes with pets, young children, or allergy sufferers benefit from cleaning every 6 months. High-traffic areas like hallways and living rooms may need more frequent attention. Regular vacuuming between cleans helps maintain results.

We move light furniture such as chairs and coffee tables as part of the service. We ask that you move heavier items like beds, wardrobes, and large sofas before we arrive if you want those areas cleaned underneath. Let us know when booking and we can advise on the best preparation.
